With over five decades of leadership in Information Technology, including 31 years with IBM in senior technical and management roles, has built a distinguished career at the intersection of technology, business, and education.
Currently serves as Director at First Paramount Modaraba and Datalog, and sits on the Boards of Governors for Ponder Alliance and SEW Schools Network. He is also a Senior Member of the Pakistan Engineers Forum.
Throughout the career, spearheaded pioneering projects, from real-time well data acquisition at OGDC and airline support systems at IBM London, to South Asia’s first MasterCard switch and the introduction of Urdu on ATMs. Following early retirement from IBM in 2000, transitioned into IT consultancy and training, leading ERP implementations, IT strategic planning for major organizations, and developing manufacturing and healthcare ERP solutions.

NCGSA Research Grant (2022): High-precision UAV location using neural networks and GPS augmentation
NCAI Grant (2021): Deep learning–based automated defect detection for manufacturers

A specialist in IoT solutions, ERP audits, process improvement, and IT governance. Led diverse projects across energy, environment, healthcare, manufacturing, and government sectors. Authored the Five-Year Strategic Plan for E-Governance in Sindh (2015–2020), encompassing over 200 IT projects.
Served on FPCCI’s Standing Committee on Research and collaborated with institutions including KIET, UIT, and MAJU. Over the years, trained thousands of students and executives in project management, ERP audits, and professional IT skills, leaving a lasting impact on Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
